If you enjoy Yin yoga, you will feel at home at Cala
We love the slower pace of Yin, the time spent in each pose, and the opportunity to pay attention to how our bodies feel.
A Little More Than Yin
There's something special about taking your time in a Yin class. Staying in a position for several minutes, noticing how your body responds, and gradually settling into a slower rhythm.
We bring that same appreciation for slowing down into everything we offer at Cala.
You might spend one class exploring gentle movement and stretching, another resting comfortably with blankets and bolsters, or an afternoon listening to singing bowls.
These practices complement one another, giving you different ways to move, rest, and care for yourself.
Discover Cala Yin
Slow down and settle in.
Cala Yin draws from the traditional practice of Yin yoga, with longer-held seated and reclined poses, gentle stretches, and time for quiet observation.
We use bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body and help you find a comfortable position. Throughout the class, you're encouraged to notice sensations, explore your range of movement, and make adjustments as needed.
The pace is unhurried, with space for breathing, mindfulness, and rest.
Whether Yin yoga is familiar to you or something you're curious to try, our teachers will guide you through the experience.
Explore Beyond Yin
The qualities we appreciate in Yin—patience, awareness, and slowing down—can be explored in many ways.
At Cala, each class offers its own experience.
Cala Move + Restore
A thoughtful combination of movement, mobility, stretching, and restorative positions. We explore different ways of moving the body, then gradually transition toward a slower pace and rest.
Cala Reset
Our slowest movement class. We begin with gentle movements to help the body settle, followed by longer periods of supported rest and guided meditation.
Cala Sound + Rest
Settle into a comfortable resting position and experience the sounds and vibrations of singing bowls and other instruments. Time dedicated to listening, resting, and enjoying a quiet moment.
Guided Meditation
An opportunity to explore meditation through body awareness, guided reflection, and simple techniques for focusing attention. Suitable for beginners and those with an established practice.
You may find yourself drawn to different classes depending on the day, your energy, or simply your curiosity.
